This Privacy Policy explains how Social Finder: Group, Page & Profile Lead Exporter handles information when you use the Chrome extension.
Social Finder is designed to help users collect, organize, filter, and export publicly available business, creator, page, group, and profile lead information from supported Facebook pages, profiles, groups, and search result pages.
Social Finder is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or produced by Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram.
1. Information the Extension May Process
Social Finder may process the following information only when needed to provide its core lead extraction and export features:
• The active tab URL, only to confirm that the user is on a supported Facebook page
• Publicly visible page, profile, group, or search result information from supported Facebook pages
• Public page or profile names
• Public business or creator names, when available
• Public email addresses, when available
• Public phone numbers, when available
• Public website URLs, when available
• Public social media links, when available
• Public address or location information, when available
• Public page category, niche, bio, or about information, when available
• Public follower, like, rating, review, or similar visible metrics, when available
• User-selected filters and extension preferences
• Temporary lead results generated during the extraction workflow
• CSV export data created by the user
The extension processes this information only from supported pages selected or opened by the user.
2. Information the Extension Does Not Collect
Social Finder does not intentionally collect or access:
• Private Facebook messages
• Private account data
• Passwords
• Payment card numbers
• Hidden or restricted information
• Login-protected data that is not visible to the user
• Data from unrelated websites
• Full browsing history
• Personal files from the user’s device
• Sensitive personal information such as health, financial, biometric, or government ID data
The extension is intended to process only publicly available information that is visible or accessible from supported pages.
3. How Information Is Collected
Social Finder collects or processes information when the user manually starts the lead extraction workflow on a supported page.
The extension may use Chrome extension permissions to:
• Detect the active supported tab
• Read visible public content from the supported page
• Organize extracted lead information inside the extension interface
• Apply user-selected filters
• Save temporary results or preferences locally
• Export selected lead data as a CSV file
The extension does not run lead extraction automatically across unrelated websites.
4. How Information Is Used
Social Finder uses processed information only to provide the extension’s single purpose, including:
• Detecting supported Facebook pages
• Extracting publicly available lead information from supported pages
• Displaying extracted results inside the extension interface
• Allowing users to filter and review collected leads
• Allowing users to export selected results as a CSV file
• Saving local preferences and temporary workflow data
• Supporting account access, authentication, subscription, or usage management when applicable
• Maintaining extension functionality, security, and reliability
We do not use extracted lead data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes.
5. Data Storage and Handling
Social Finder may store limited information in the user’s browser using Chrome extension storage or local browser storage.
This may include:
• Extension settings
• User preferences
• Filters
• Temporary lead results
• CSV export preparation data
• Authentication or subscription state, when applicable
Lead extraction results may remain in the extension interface or local browser storage until the user clears them, replaces them with a new scan, exports them, clears browser data, or uninstalls the extension.
CSV files are saved only when the user chooses to export or download them.
6. Data Sharing
Social Finder does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing platforms.
Extracted lead data is not shared with other users.
Data may be shared only in the following limited situations:
• With the user, by displaying results inside the extension interface
• With the user’s browser download system, when the user exports a CSV file
• With LeadStal systems, only if required for user authentication, account access, subscription validation, usage management, or extension security
• With trusted service providers that help operate authentication, hosting, payment, analytics, or security systems, only when necessary and under confidentiality obligations
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, LeadStal, or the public
We do not share extracted lead data with advertisers or data brokers.
7. Third-Party Services and Parties Data May Be Shared With
Depending on how the extension and related account features are used, limited user data may be processed by the following types of service providers:
• Hosting providers, for operating LeadStal systems
• Authentication providers, for sign-in and account access
• Payment processors, for paid plan or subscription management
• Analytics or security providers, for service reliability, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention
• Browser services, such as Chrome download and extension storage features
These parties may process data only as needed to provide their services to LeadStal or the user.
The extension does not authorize these providers to sell extracted lead data or use it for unrelated advertising purposes.
8. Chrome Permissions
Social Finder may request Chrome permissions required for its core features.
identity: Used only for user sign-in, account access, and subscription or usage management within the extension.
storage: Used to save extension settings, filters, preferences, temporary lead results, and CSV export data locally in the browser.
Host permissions: Required to read publicly available page, profile, group, search result, and business contact information from supported Facebook pages selected by the user for lead extraction.
Permissions are used only for the extension’s disclosed lead extraction, organization, filtering, and CSV export functionality.
9. Remote Code
Social Finder does not use remote code if the Chrome Web Store privacy form states that remote code is not used.
All extension code, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and extension logic, should be packaged inside the submitted Chrome extension.
The extension should not load or execute JavaScript, WebAssembly, or executable logic from a remote server.
10. User Control
Users control when the extension runs.
Users may:
• Choose when to start lead extraction
• Review extracted results before export
• Apply filters to results
• Export selected data as CSV
• Clear extension data through browser settings
• Remove the extension from Chrome at any time
• Contact us to request account-related data deletion, when applicable
11. Data Retention
Temporary lead results and local settings may remain in the browser until the user clears them, replaces them, clears browser storage, or uninstalls the extension.
Account, authentication, or subscription-related data may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
If a user requests deletion of account-related data, we will delete or anonymize applicable data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security, billing, or compliance reasons.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information processed by the extension and related LeadStal systems.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should review exported files carefully and store them responsibly.
13. Responsible Use of Exported Data
Social Finder is intended for responsible research and organization of publicly available business, creator, page, group, and profile information.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their collection, storage, export, processing, and outreach activities comply with:
• Applicable privacy laws
• Data protection laws
• Anti-spam regulations
• Website terms of service
• Platform rules
• Business communication laws
• Outreach and marketing rules in their region
The extension must not be used for spam, harassment, unlawful profiling, unauthorized access, or misuse of contact information.
14. Children’s Privacy
Social Finder is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law. The extension does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
15. International Users
LeadStal may operate from Malaysia and may serve users in different countries. By using the extension, users understand that information may be processed in the user’s country or in other countries where LeadStal or its service providers operate.
We aim to handle information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
