AliDS – AliExpress Dropshipping Center Shortcut (“AliDS”, “the extension”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a browser extension designed to provide convenient shortcuts to AliExpress dropshipping-related pages, including the AliExpress Dropshipping Center, orders, and package tracking pages.

This Privacy Policy explains what information AliDS accesses, how that information is used, whether it is transmitted or shared, and the choices available to users.

1. Information AliDS Accesses

AliDS may access limited information on supported AliExpress pages in order to provide its user-facing features.

This may include:

  • The URL of the AliExpress page you are currently visiting.
  • Limited page content necessary to identify supported AliExpress pages, display the optional AliDS shortcut button, and identify eligible AliExpress product links.
  • AliDS preferences and settings, such as whether the on-page shortcut button or affiliate functionality is enabled.

AliDS does not access or collect your AliExpress password, authentication credentials, payment card information, banking information, or other payment information.

AliDS does not access or modify your AliExpress checkout information.

2. How Information Is Used

AliDS uses the information described above only to provide the extension's disclosed functionality.

AliDS may use the current AliExpress page URL or limited page information to:

  • Determine whether the current page is a supported AliExpress page.
  • Display the optional AliDS shortcut button.
  • Open the AliExpress Dropshipping Center, orders, tracking, or other supported AliExpress pages when requested by the user.
  • Identify eligible AliExpress product links when optional affiliate functionality is enabled.
  • Add an affiliate or referral parameter to an eligible AliExpress product link when affiliate functionality is enabled.

AliDS settings may be stored locally using browser storage so that the extension remembers your selected preferences.

3. Local Processing

AliDS is designed so that its shortcut functionality and settings operate locally in the user's browser.

AliDS does not operate a developer server for collecting users' browsing activity, AliExpress account information, orders, credentials, or payment information.

AliDS does not sell users' personal information or browsing information.

4. Affiliate Links

AliDS may participate in affiliate programs related to AliExpress.

If affiliate functionality is enabled, AliDS may add an affiliate or referral identifier to eligible AliExpress product links.

When you open an affiliate-supported link, the resulting request is sent to AliExpress and/or the systems used by AliExpress to process affiliate referrals. The link may contain a referral identifier that allows an eligible purchase to be attributed to the developer.

The developer may receive a commission from an eligible purchase at no additional cost to the user.

AliDS does not use affiliate functionality to:

  • Change product prices.
  • Add products to your cart.
  • Access or perform checkout.
  • Collect payment information.
  • Obtain your AliExpress password or login credentials.
  • Modify your AliExpress orders.

Affiliate functionality can be disabled through the extension settings.

5. Information AliDS Does Not Collect

AliDS does not collect or transmit to the developer:

  • Your name.
  • Your email address.
  • Your physical address.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your AliExpress password.
  • Authentication credentials.
  • Payment card or banking information.
  • AliExpress checkout information.
  • The contents of your AliExpress orders.
  • Your general browsing history outside the supported AliExpress functionality.

AliDS does not create a separate AliDS user account.

6. Data Sharing

AliDS does not sell user data.

AliDS does not provide user data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

When a user chooses to open an AliExpress page, the browser communicates directly with AliExpress as part of normal website navigation.

When optional affiliate functionality is enabled, eligible AliExpress links may contain an affiliate or referral identifier. AliExpress and its affiliate-tracking systems may process that identifier according to their own terms and privacy practices.

No AliExpress account credentials or payment information are provided to the AliDS developer.

7. Data Storage and Retention

AliDS may store extension preferences locally in the browser, such as whether optional features are enabled or disabled.

These settings remain on the user's device or in browser-managed extension storage until they are changed, cleared, or the extension is removed, subject to the behavior of the user's browser.

AliDS does not maintain a developer-operated database containing users' AliExpress browsing activity, credentials, orders, or payment information.

8. Permissions and Website Access

AliDS requests only browser permissions and website access needed to provide its disclosed features.

Access to supported AliExpress pages is used to provide the shortcut interface, recognize supported pages, and, when enabled by the user, support affiliate-link functionality.

AliDS does not use this access to collect unrelated browsing activity.

9. Security

AliDS is designed to minimize the handling of user information.

Where AliDS directs the browser to external websites, secure HTTPS URLs are used where supported.

Users should always sign in to AliExpress directly through official AliExpress pages. AliDS does not request users to provide their AliExpress password to the extension.

10. User Choices

Users may disable the optional on-page AliDS shortcut button through the extension settings.

Users may also disable optional affiliate functionality through the extension settings.

Users can remove locally stored AliDS information by clearing the extension's stored data or uninstalling the extension, subject to the storage controls provided by Chrome.

11. Third-Party Services

AliDS provides shortcuts to AliExpress websites and services.

AliExpress and related Alibaba services are operated independently and have their own terms and privacy practices. AliDS does not control how those websites process information after you visit them.

AliExpress, Alibaba, Alibaba.com, and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

AliDS is an independent browser extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or produced by AliExpress, Alibaba Group, or their affiliated companies.

12. Children's Privacy

AliDS is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because AliDS does not operate a developer service for collecting personal information from users, it does not knowingly maintain personal information belonging to children.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if AliDS functionality or data-handling practices change.

If a future version of AliDS introduces materially different data-handling practices, those practices will be disclosed to users as required before the relevant information is collected or used.
