This Privacy Policy explains how AliTally – AliExpress Cart to CSV Exporter handles information when you use the Chrome extension.

AliTally is designed to help users export visible AliExpress shopping cart information into a properly formatted CSV file. The extension works in the user’s browser and does not require an account, cloud sync, or a developer server.

AliTally is an independent browser extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or produced by AliExpress, Alibaba Group, or any of their affiliated companies.

1. Information the Extension May Process

AliTally may process limited information from the AliExpress cart page that the user already has open.

This may include:

• Store name
• Product title
• Item ID
• Product URL
• Product attributes or selected options
• Quantity
• Unit price
• Currency
• Shipping cost, when available
• Line total
• Cart subtotal
• Shipping total
• Grand total
• Visible cart page structure needed to create the CSV export
• Extension settings and export preferences
• Affiliate settings, when enabled by the user

This information is processed only to create the user-requested cart export file.

2. Information the Extension Does Not Intentionally Collect

AliTally does not intentionally collect:

• AliExpress passwords
• Account credentials
• Payment card information
• Checkout payment details
• Private messages
• Full browsing history
• Personal files from the user’s device
• Data from unrelated websites
• Hidden or restricted AliExpress information
• Government ID numbers
• Bank account information
• Sensitive personal information

AliTally does not place orders, change cart contents, change item quantities, remove products, add products, or modify checkout details.

3. How Information Is Processed

Information is processed when the user interacts with AliTally, such as when the user:

• Opens an AliExpress cart page
• Opens the AliTally popup
• Clicks the export option
• Chooses to export cart data as a CSV file
• Changes extension settings
• Enables or disables affiliate-related settings

AliTally does not automatically export cart data without user action.

4. How Information Is Used

AliTally uses processed information only for its single purpose and core functionality.

This includes:

• Reading visible AliExpress cart information from the active supported cart page
• Building a properly formatted CSV file in the browser
• Including visible cart details such as product titles, stores, quantities, prices, shipping, and totals
• Saving the CSV file to the user’s device when the user requests export
• Saving local extension settings
• Applying user-controlled affiliate link settings when enabled

AliTally does not use cart data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes.

5. Local Browser Storage

AliTally may store limited settings locally in the user’s browser.

Locally stored data may include:

• Export preferences
• Affiliate settings
• Onboarding status
• Interface preferences
• Basic extension settings

This information remains in the browser unless the user clears browser data, resets extension storage, changes settings, or uninstalls the extension.

AliTally does not maintain an external developer database of cart contents, exported files, product lists, prices, or user settings.

6. CSV Export and Downloads

AliTally uses the browser’s download functionality to save the user-requested CSV file.

The exported CSV file is generated in the browser from the visible AliExpress cart page.

Downloaded files are saved to the user’s device through Chrome’s download system.

AliTally does not upload the CSV file to a developer server.

7. Affiliate Links and Referral Disclosure

AliTally may participate in affiliate programs related to AliExpress product links.

When affiliate functionality is enabled, AliTally may add a referral code to eligible AliExpress product links, including eligible product links in exported CSV files or eligible AliExpress product pages visited by the user.

If the user clicks or opens an affiliate-supported product link and completes an eligible purchase, the developer may receive a small commission at no extra cost to the user.

AliTally does not:

• Change product prices
• Add products to the cart
• Remove products from the cart
• Change item quantities
• Access checkout payment details
• Collect payment information
• Access AliExpress account credentials
• Modify orders
• Change AliExpress account settings

Affiliate behavior can be turned off in the extension settings.

AliTally’s main purpose is not affiliate advertising. The main purpose of AliTally is to help users export visible AliExpress cart information into a CSV spreadsheet file.

8. Data Sharing

AliTally does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing platforms.

AliTally does not share cart contents, exported CSV files, prices, product lists, or settings with other users.

Data may be shared only in the following limited situations:

• With the user, by showing cart export information in the extension interface
• With the user’s browser, when saving local settings or downloading the CSV file
• With AliExpress, only as part of the user’s normal use of AliExpress pages
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the developer, or the public

9. Third-Party Services

AliTally works on supported AliExpress pages.

AliExpress and Alibaba Group have their own terms and privacy policies. AliTally does not control how AliExpress handles information when users browse, shop, sign in, add items to a cart, or check out on AliExpress.

10. Chrome Permissions

AliTally may request Chrome permissions required for its core functionality.

Used to save local extension settings, export preferences, affiliate settings, onboarding status, and basic user interface preferences in the browser.

downloads
Used to save the user-requested AliExpress cart export as a CSV file when the user clicks the export option in the extension popup.

Host permissions
Used to read visible AliExpress cart information from supported cart pages, including store name, product title, item ID, URL, attributes, quantity, price, shipping, and totals, and to apply user-controlled affiliate link behavior only on eligible AliExpress product links when enabled.

These permissions are used only for AliTally’s cart export, local settings, download, and optional affiliate-link functionality.

11. Remote Code

AliTally does not use remote code.

All JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and extension logic are included inside the submitted Chrome extension package.

AliTally does not load or execute external JavaScript, remote WebAssembly, or executable code from outside the extension package.

12. User Control

Users control how AliTally is used.

Users may:

• Open the extension popup
• Export the visible AliExpress cart to CSV
• Open the exported CSV file in a spreadsheet app
• Enable or disable affiliate-related settings
• Clear extension data through browser settings
• Uninstall the extension at any time

AliTally does not place orders or perform checkout actions.

13. Data Retention and Deletion

AliTally stores settings locally in the user’s browser until the user changes settings, clears browser data, resets extension storage, or uninstalls the extension.

Exported CSV files remain on the user’s device unless the user deletes them.

AliTally does not maintain a separate external database of exported cart data.

14. Data Security

AliTally is designed to minimize data handling by processing cart export data in the browser.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but AliTally does not use a developer server to store cart contents or exported CSV files.

Users should review exported CSV files before sharing them.

15. Responsible Use

AliTally is intended to help users export and organize their own AliExpress cart information for shopping, sourcing, product research, purchase planning, or personal records.

Users are responsible for reviewing exported cart data, prices, shipping costs, taxes, availability, seller information, and final checkout totals before making any purchase.

AliTally does not guarantee price accuracy, shipping accuracy, product availability, seller reliability, tax calculation, or final checkout total.

16. Children’s Privacy

AliTally is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law.

The extension does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
