1. Information AliWatch May Process

AliWatch may process limited information from supported AliExpress product pages and from settings chosen by the user.

• Lowest price seen by the user’s browser
• Local price history for tracked products
• Price trend information based on locally saved history
• User-selected tracked product list

This information is used only for AliWatch’s price tracking, local history, price drop alert, and optional affiliate-link functionality.

2. Information AliWatch Does Not Intentionally Collect

AliWatch does not intentionally collect:

• AliExpress passwords
• AliExpress account credentials
• Payment card information
• Checkout payment details
• Cart contents, except where visible product links are used for supported price tracking actions
• Private messages
• Full browsing history
• Personal files from the user’s device
• Data from unrelated websites
• Hidden or restricted AliExpress information
• Government ID numbers

AliWatch does not place orders, add items to the cart, remove items from the cart, change item quantities, access checkout payment details, or modify AliExpress account settings.

3. How Information Is Processed

Information is processed when the user uses AliWatch, such as when the user:

• Clicks Track on a product
• Saves a product to the tracked product list

• Opens the extension popup
• Reviews tracked products

• Removes a tracked product or clears extension data

AliWatch may also periodically re-check user-tracked product pages in the background to update local price history and detect price drops.

4. How Information Is Used

AliWatch uses processed information only for its single purpose and core functionality.

• Reading visible product price information from supported AliExpress product pages
• Saving user-selected tracked products locally in the browser
• Building local price history

5. Local Browser Storage

AliWatch may store limited information locally in the user’s browser.

• A tracked product reaches a new lowest price in the user’s local history

Notifications are based on data detected by the extension from supported AliExpress product pages and locally stored in the browser.

AliWatch does not guarantee price accuracy, product availability, discount accuracy, seller reliability, shipping cost accuracy, or final checkout total.

7. Affiliate Links and Referral Disclosure

AliWatch may participate in affiliate programs related to AliExpress product links.

When affiliate functionality is enabled, AliWatch may add a referral code to eligible AliExpress product links. If the user clicks or opens an affiliate-supported product link and completes an eligible purchase, the developer may receive a small commission at no extra cost to the user.

AliWatch does not:

• Change product prices
• Add products to the cart
• Remove products from the cart
• Change item quantities
• Access checkout payment details
• Collect payment information
• Access AliExpress account credentials
• Modify orders
• Change AliExpress account settings

Affiliate behavior can be turned off in the extension settings.

AliWatch’s main purpose is not affiliate advertising. The main purpose of AliWatch is to help users track AliExpress product prices, monitor local price history, and receive price drop alerts.

8. Data Sharing

AliWatch does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing platforms.

AliWatch does not share tracked products, price history, alert settings, or extension preferences with other users.

Data may be shared only in the following limited situations:

• With the user, by displaying tracked products, price history, and alerts in the extension interface
• With the user’s browser, when saving local settings or sending browser notifications
• With AliExpress, only as part of the user’s normal use of AliExpress pages

9. Third-Party Services

AliWatch works on supported AliExpress pages.

AliExpress and Alibaba Group have their own terms and privacy policies. AliWatch does not control how AliExpress handles information when users browse, sign in, shop, add products to a cart, or check out on AliExpress.

10. Chrome Permissions

AliWatch may request Chrome permissions required for its core functionality.

Used to save tracked products, local price history, lowest price seen, alert threshold, notification preferences, affiliate settings, onboarding status, and extension UI settings in the browser.

alarms
Used to schedule periodic background checks for AliExpress products that the user has chosen to track, so the extension can update local price history and detect price drops.

notifications
Used to send desktop notifications when a tracked AliExpress product drops by the user’s selected threshold or reaches a new lowest price in the user’s local price history.

Host permissions
Used to read visible price and product information from supported AliExpress product pages, re-check user-tracked product pages for price updates, show the tracking panel, and apply user-controlled affiliate link behavior only on eligible AliExpress product links when enabled.

These permissions are used only for AliWatch’s price tracking, local history, price alert, settings, and optional affiliate-link functionality.

11. Remote Code

AliWatch does not use remote code.

All JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and extension logic are included inside the submitted Chrome extension package.

AliWatch does not load or execute external JavaScript, remote WebAssembly, or executable code from outside the extension package.

12. User Control

Users control how AliWatch is used.

Users may:

• Track or untrack AliExpress products
• View tracked products in the extension popup
• Set or change price drop alert thresholds
• Enable or disable notifications through browser or extension settings
• Enable or disable affiliate-related settings
• Clear local extension data through browser settings
• Uninstall the extension at any time

AliWatch does not place orders or perform checkout actions.
